What began as a fundraiser last year became one of our most-loved scents and a permanent part of Magnolia Ritual. You loved it so much, we never stopped making it. This October, Grace Under Fire returns to where it began: supporting the family who inspired it.
HOW GRACE UNDER FIRE BEGAN
It started with a scent.
Last year, while Kajay was fighting triple-negative breast cancer, we wanted to do something to help a family we love.
There was just one problem: Kajay couldn't smell.
After losing her sense of smell following COVID, her husband Craig came into Magnolia Ritual and helped us create something especially for her.
Together, we blended two Magnolia favorites, Grace + Bliss, and somehow created something completely its own: soft white florals and musk, passion fruit, warm vanilla and patchouli.
We called it Grace Under Fire.
AND THEN SOMETHING HAPPENED WE DIDN'T EXPECT.
You loved it.
What began as a special scent for one fundraiser quickly became one of our most-requested fragrances. You kept asking for Grace Under Fire, so we kept making it.
And every time someone new discovered it, we told them about Kajay and Craig and how this scent came to be.
Grace Under Fire never left our shelves.
It became part of Magnolia Ritual's story.
THIS YEAR, WE NEED GRACE UNDER FIRE MORE THAN EVER.
Since last October, Kajay’s fight has changed. Her triple-negative breast cancer has progressed to Stage 4, and she is now undergoing ongoing chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
So we’re showing up for this sweet family again. And we’re asking our community to show up with us.
